  1. Whoa! This list is amazing! I will be spending some time doing some researching from these lists you’ve shared.

    This is gold!

I appreciate all the work that you’ve put into compiling this list!

My homeschooling/life blog, which deals with home educating our three boys can be found here:
    http://www.lessonsandlessons.wordpress.com

  2. Hi Ross, what a great list of blogs – I’m always looking for more home ed inspiration from the UK so these are really helpful.

I have also recently started a blog. My daughter is only preschool age, but my intention is homeschooling. It’s a secular blog but I’m inspired by Charlotte Mason, the Waldorf approach and Reggio Emilia. http://www.joyandmarvel.com

  3. Hi there, thanks so much for this list of home ed blogs; I’ve used them many times as a source of inspiration and support. Your excellent book, A Home Education Notebook, was one the first home ed books I read and was fundamental in helping me take the decision to remove my two children from school. Thank you.

On a separate note, I’ve set up a blog with another home ed friend of mine to follow our home ed adventures, called https://fiveescapetheclassroom.wordpress.com/. Would you possibly consider adding it to the list of home ed blogs above? Thank you and I hope you don’t mind me asking, x

  4. I’ve only just seen that you’ve added my blog to this list (butterscotchandcognac). Thank you! I’ll definitely be looking at a few of these links – always so good to see what other home ed families are up to.
Thanks for all the great work you do in regards to HE!

    • Hi Anne, I’m afraid I don’t have details of local groups. You might find it better to ask this on some of the home education Facebook Groups. And the website edyourself.org has some details too.

  5. Dear Parents,

I am conducting a research on the reasons and benefits of homeschooling. This topic is an ongoing field of study and I am very much interested in it as a researcher as well as a parent who is looking into this option for my two girls. It would be greatly appreciated if you could participate in the questionnaire and return it to me by 10th January 2015. You have a right to decide whether you are interested to participate and if you do not wish to answer any of the questions included, you may skip them and move on to the next question. If you wouldn’t mind to be interviewed instead of answering the questionnaire, I’ll be much obliged. Just drop me an email stating you preferred method for interview (phone call or Skype) and available time. Your confidentiality and anonymity are highly assured. You may request for removal of any information given. You have a right to withdraw from answering the questions. If you have any questions or concerns regarding the research, please do not hesitate to contact me. Your comments and feedback is highly valued. Thank you for your time.

    Best wishes,

  6. I’ve just found this site – how did I not find you earlier?! I shall be spending a large chunk of my Sunday reading all these articles and posts. In the meantime how can go about getting my blog listed on your page? I didn’t realise there were so many – I’m looking forward to what promises to be some interesting reading x

    • Thank you! Hope you enjoyed it! As for the listing – I just generally collect any I come across that I think others would find helpful. Why not put a link here in the comments – I already tried one link but it told me it was disconnected!?!

  7. I have been home educating for 11 years but have only just started blogging. I am on a very steep part of the learning curve and decided to spend a couple of hours seeing what else was out there in the home-ed blogging world . I am so impressed with the list on this page and may have to set aside some more time to investigate each link. Thank you for this list, Ross.
